Bright Labs Incubator is a unique program designed to help ambitious startup founders go from a dream to 1st user in 6 months!
The program helpsyou from day 0, with no need for prior experience, a registered company, a product, not even a great idea. If you just want to buildsomething cool and have the gritto do it, we offer everything you need in order to start.
During the 4-month incubation stage, we offer free accommodation for founders relocating from outside the city/country.

Our co-working space in Oradea Fortress will be the place for inspiration, conversation and hard work during the program!
Free coffee and meals
We'll take care of 1 meal/day and unlimited coffee for fueling your ideas and energy to make it happen!

Startups which are selected to participate in the Incubation Stage will receive a €2,000 grant.
All the Alumni of the program are eligible to apply for a max. €50,000 funding ticket after the Bright Labs 2024 Demo Day.

What are the eligibility criteria for applying to Bright Labs?
No prior experience is required. No registered company is required. No product/MVP/prototype is required. Not even an idea! Just your strong commitment to build something great and the necessary grit to make it happen!
Can international founders apply?
Yes, but make sure you have the required documents to get into the country. We can support you with the necessary information if you are from outside the EU.
For startups approved into the program, do you request any equity?
No. Bright Labs Incubator is an equity-free startup program.
Can I rent an apartment in Oradea and get reimbursement?
No. We provide the accommodation through our partners.
When will the startups receive the grants?
The first €1,000 will be received after being selected in the Incubation Stage. The remaining €1,000 will be received after the Progress Day (a status-check meeting following the completion of the Market Mapping and Distribution pillars). Those who relocate will receive the €1,000 right away.
Is the €50,000 investment round in exchange for equity?
Our investments are made for a percentage of equity between 3-5%.
It also requires your company to be registered in Oradea and at least 1 of the co-founders and more than 50% of the team to operate initially from Oradea.
What happens after the program is finished?
As a Bright Labs Incubator Alumni, you are part of our network, gaining permanent access to our communication channels, exclusive events, mentors and investors, and a vibrant connection with the local community.
Does the incubation program sign an NDA with the startups?
No.
